Start with the official reference
Each rule page links to its source and shows when that source was last reviewed. The review date is separate from the date a page was built or translated. Follow the official reference for current conditions and exceptions.
A day count is one component
Some rules use physical presence. Others depend on domicile, a permanent home, work, your permission, nationality or a treaty. Our explanations keep those conditions alongside the calculator. A total alone does not establish residency, citizenship eligibility or permission to stay.
Your recorded dates matter
The calculators count the visits you enter. They merge overlapping recorded dates, use civil calendar days and keep unrecorded gaps unknown. Read the counting assumptions on each page: arrival, departure, full-day and calendar-month conventions differ.
One catalog, consistent definitions
Untild's app and website use the same rule definitions and source references. Browser calculations are checked against the native counting engine using shared regression scenarios.
When a number is only a reminder
Some app counters are reminders or approximate components. The website preserves those qualifications and links to the authoritative conditions. Proposed and retired rules are excluded from the public rulebook.
