1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Palara LLC operates untild.app, including the rulebook and free browser calculators. This policy covers this website and messages you send us about it. The Untild iPhone app has a separate privacy policy. Our business address and contact details appear below.

2. Calculator entries and search

Dates, countries, states, cities, permission details, home-condition answers and exclusions you enter are processed in your browser to produce a result. Our website does not upload those entries or results to Palara or a calculation server, or add them to page URLs. Calculators remain disabled until their local processing code is ready.

We do not deliberately save calculator entries or search text in cookies, local storage or a website account. Your browser may independently retain or restore forms, history or cached pages; clearing a form does not erase copies your browser or an extension has kept. Use your browser's controls on a shared device. Search filtering also runs locally.

3. Cloudflare hosting and security

Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. Requests expose technical information such as your IP address, requested page, time, browser or device information and traffic/security signals to Cloudflare. We use this service to deliver pages, maintain availability, detect abuse and investigate faults. Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies or similar measures when protecting a request.

Cloudflare's privacy policy explains its handling of service and network data. Calculator inputs are not included in our page requests or analytics events. Do not put confidential information into page URLs or send it to us through an external link.

4. Website analytics and cookies

Cloudflare also provides an analytics/performance beacon on this site. It measures page visits, referral sources, browser/device categories, approximate traffic geography and loading performance. We use aggregate reports to understand which pages are useful and improve the website. These measures are not an exact count of distinct people.

Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as using no analytics cookies, local storage or individual visitor fingerprinting. This is separate from the request and security processing described above. We do not use advertising trackers, session recordings or cross-site advertising profiles, and do not send calculator field values or results to the beacon. Browser content-blocking controls may block the beacon; the calculators do not depend on it.

5. If you contact us

Email links open your email application; no message is sent until you choose to send it. Palara and the email providers involved process your email address, message and any attachments you send so we can respond, provide support and keep necessary business records. An issue-report link may include the public rule title, but it does not attach your calculator entries. Please do not send passports, payment-card details, passwords or full travel histories unless genuinely necessary.

6. Purposes, legal bases and sharing

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in delivering a secure, reliable website, understanding aggregate usage and responding to enquiries, subject to your rights and interests. We also process information where necessary to meet legal obligations. If we request consent for an optional feature, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

We use hosting, security, analytics and email providers for the purposes described here. We may disclose information when required by law, to address fraud or security incidents, or to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We do not make decisions about your legal status or eligibility from your calculator use.

7. Retention and security

We do not maintain a server-side record of calculator entries or results. We retain correspondence only as reasonably necessary to answer the request, handle follow-up matters, maintain necessary business records or meet legal obligations and resolve claims. We review whether it is still needed after the matter is resolved.

Cloudflare currently makes Web Analytics reports available for the preceding six months. Its underlying operational and security records follow its service retention practices and applicable requirements; we do not promise a fixed deletion period for provider records we do not directly control. We use HTTPS and reasonable operational safeguards, but no website or electronic communication is completely secure.

8. International processing

Palara LLC is based in the United States. Cloudflare and email providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Cloudflare's standard data-processing terms provide for Standard Contractual Clauses and related safeguards for relevant restricted transfers from the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Other transfers remain subject to applicable legal requirements. Contact us to request information or a copy of the safeguards relevant to your data.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact hi@palarashop.com and identify untild.app. We may request only the information reasonably needed to verify and handle your request, and respond within applicable legal time limits.

You can use the site without emailing us or providing calculator entries. Technical request information is needed to deliver a page. Because Palara does not hold your local calculator entries, we cannot retrieve or erase them remotely. Aggregated analytics that cannot be linked to you may not be retrievable as an individual record. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

10. External services and children

Official-source, App Store and other external links lead to services with their own policies. The website does not request location, photo-library or document access, and it has no signup, payment checkout or file-upload feature. App downloads and purchases are handled separately through Apple and the app's own policies.

This is a general-audience travel-information website, not a service directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
