How this count works
This reminder uses the entered departure date, the selected re-entry permission and the return deadline that you provide. It does not infer your immigration status from recorded journeys.
Ordinary special re-entry generally requires return within one year, or before residence status expires if that date is earlier. A regular re-entry permit follows its approved validity period, up to five years. Special permanent residents have different rules. Enter the earlier applicable return deadline and the actual return date.
