How this count works
The counter treats consecutive recorded days in the United States as one visit. It does not establish whether a new admission or a new authorized stay was granted.
ESTA means Electronic System for Travel Authorization. Approval allows you to travel to request entry under the Visa Waiver Program; it does not guarantee entry. US border officials determine whether you may enter and the authorized length of stay. Short trips to Canada, Mexico or nearby islands generally remain within the original 90-day period. This counter cannot infer a new admission from a gap in recorded US visits.
