How each rule works

Tax residency

Singapore tax — 183-day presence

The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore lists an annual 183-day route for foreigners, plus two-year employment and three-year concessions. Temporary absences connected with Singapore employment can count toward employment days, so travel records alone can understate the relevant period.
