Tax residency

Singapore tax — 183-day presence calculator

The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore lists an annual 183-day route for foreigners, plus two-year employment and three-year concessions. Temporary absences connected with Singapore employment can count toward employment days, so travel records alone can understate the relevant period.

How this count works

Recorded arrival and departure dates count once. Missing travel history, other eligibility conditions and treaty outcomes are not calculated.

This tracks the annual foreigner presence route. Two-year employment and three-year concessions can apply below the annual day threshold.
